PROJECT PURPOSE

ThE Problem

Managing and keeping track of physical health is a well developed area of tech, however when it comes to mental health the stats are harder to track and typically your wellness is recorded manually. For busy people, college kids who are under a lot of social and academic pressure especially, this can be consuming and overwhelming.

The solution

MyAtlas aims to make tracking your wellness easier by centralizing your mental health check ins and compiling data to allow users to set goals, track their activity, and learn more about how to work on their mental health. Outside of UI functionality, MyAtlas also can pair with a wearable device to take things like heart rate and physical activity, attributes that correlate to stress or anxiety, into account.

The TAKEAWAY

Creating an organization app that somewhat sits within the healthcare world, but is more-so related to self care and needs to appear inviting, warm, and easy to manage allowed for a good amount of creative freedom while still being pretty standard in terms of UI purpose. Finding typography, color, and spacing that illustrated this feel was definitely the key to forming the brand identity.
